Our Social Impact Journey

WeHear’s commitment to accessible hearing solutions extends beyond product development. We take pride in our impactful collaborations, fostering a positive change in the lives of those affected by hearing loss.

Our journey began with the Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad, where we provided 107 initial devices. This successful pilot program fueled our resolve. We then partnered with Samagra Shiksha Abhyan, distributing over 3,000 hearing aids for testing across Gujarat. The remarkable 94% success rate served as a strong validation of our technology’s effectiveness.

Encouraged by these results, we expanded our reach, conducting trials in Telangana, Bangalore, and several other cities in India. Recognizing the importance of collaboration, WeHear actively partnered with leading CSR partners like Godrej, ONGC, Frudal Advisory, Voice of SAP, and Juniper Networks. Through these partnerships, WeHear has successfully donated over 1,100 devices to date. We express our sincere gratitude to all our impact partners for their invaluable support.

our USP

Engagement with Government Authorities: This initial phase involves seeking approval from the Department of Education. Subsequently, close coordination with Talukas and Block Resource Centers (BRCs) is established to meticulously plan and execute test camps for students on a taluka-wise basis.

Execution of Test Camps: In accordance with the Department of Education’s pre-determined schedule, test camps are conducted at BRCs across each taluka. The endeavor is bolstered by the invaluable support of district-level education officers. The WeHear team spearheads the testing process, accurately identifying eligible beneficiaries.

Distribution of Devices: The pivotal and culminating stage of the project involves the distribution of devices. This milestone is achieved through the concerted efforts of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wings of corporations, NGOs, and other affiliated organizations.

Ongoing Support and Monitoring: Our commitment extends beyond the distribution of devices. We conduct meticulous follow-up sessions to assess the progress and benefits experienced by the beneficiaries. To measure improvement, the WeHear team has devised a comprehensive module that evaluates both hearing and speaking proficiency levels. Follow-ups are done with the support of IERP coordinators (Individual Education and Rehabilitation Professionals) and special educators from each Mandal/Taluk. These follow-up sessions are diligently recorded through a built-in system called the Social Impact Management System (SIMS) through which we can track the progress of each beneficiary and videos of their progress can also be viewed.

Why Social Impact Management System (SIMS)?

We at WeHear understand that impact initiatives often face challenges with consistency, visibility, and efficient resource allocation. Traditional projects can struggle with high administrative costs, leaving less funding for those who need it most. WeHear’s innovative Social Impact Management System (SIMS) addresses these concerns head-on.

Through SIMS, donors receive complete transparency regarding project progress.

We eliminate administrative fees, ensuring that 100% of your contribution goes directly towards providing our life-changing hearing devices to beneficiaries. With WeHear SIMS, you can be confident that your donation is making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with hearing loss.
